HIIT training for the figure you want

HIIT training Short and efficient training

Few workouts have caused such excitement as high intensity interval training. For short, HIIT. Professional athletes have been familiar with the term since the 1970s. The intensive programme is now gaining more and more followers.  It’s no wonder: the popular intensive training uses doses of action in demanding exercise units. It improves endurance and continues to increase fat burning hours later. The best way to achieve your dream figure!

What makes HIIT so special?

Who would’ve thought it: it’s not long, moderate exercise that gives you the desired fat burning effect. In fact, short, intensive bursts of exercise are much more effective when it comes to losing weight and improving endurance.  Which is the idea behind HIIT. It alternates short, extreme phases of activity with active rest phases. For example: sprinting and walking. Every muscle is exercised as you are pushed to your limit, then you get a breather before being challenged again. Pushed to your pain threshold each time. It’s the perfect combination for sports lovers looking for action and fun.

Can I lose weight with HIIT?

Yes! HIIT helps you shed the pounds quickly. The intensive short intervals actively stimulate fat burning and and after burn effect. This ensures that the body keeps burning fat hours later. In brief:  HIIT is the demanding activity for anyone who wants to slim down fast and achieve a firmer figure.

Let’s go! This is how HIIT works:

high intensity interval training is suited to practically every type of fitness activity: jogging, strength training, crunches, push-ups and squats. What’s crucial is the sequence. You start with a short warm-up to prepare your muscles. Then there’s an intensive interval for 15-60 seconds, depending on your fitness level, to exercise your stomach, legs, bottom to your limit. Next comes a rest phase for about half the length of the exercise phase. For example, 20 seconds sprinting, 10 seconds walking. 8 intervals of 20 second long intensive exercise gives you 4 minutes of intensive interval training.
Tip: If you want to be guided through a HIIT programme, find a professional trainer at the gym. Many gyms offer introductions and programmes. HIIT can really enhance your daily exercise, but you need to give your body enough time for regeneration. 1-2 weekly HIIT sessions are enough to improve your endurance and figure.
