Castor oil for beautiful eyelashes and eyebrows

Castor oil: A miracle worker for skin and hair care

The oil is derived from the seeds of the tropical castor oil plant and contains lots of valuable unsaturated fatty acids. This includes linoleic acid, which is used in care creams due to its outstanding anti-ageing properties. It also has moisturising oleic acid, as well as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ricinoleic oil acid.
The colour of the oil ranges from clear to transparent yellow. Note that the more yellow the colour, the richer the oil. Cold-pressed oil is the most nutrient rich, and so the best for skin and hair beauty care. The pure natural oil is generally well tolerated and completely safe. Before use, it is recommended to test for possible allergies on a small area of skin.

Why castor oil makes your eyes shine?

Every woman wants long, voluminous eyelashes and thick, full eyebrows, but few are naturally blessed with them.
We do a lot to achieve it. Eyelash curlers, eyebrow pencils, serum, lengthening mascara or volume mascara are part of our daily routine.
This natural oil can give you valuable extra help because it is proven to make eyelashes and eyebrows look shinier, thicker and fuller with regular use. Use it in the evening before going to bed. The viscous consistency makes the oil easy to apply with an eyelash brush. Be patient because it will take a few weeks to start seeing results. Note that the oil comes from the castor oil plant (or ‘wonder tree’), but it can’t work wonders- your genes are responsible for hair growth.

An oil with beauty benefits

It’s not only your lashes and brows that benefit from regular oil treatment. Your skin also absorbs the valuable ingredients in the oil. It is also good for facial care. Little wrinkles by your eyes and dark circles can be visibly reduced with regular use of castor oil. Due to its viscous consistency it’s not a ‘penetrating oil’ which- like other face oils- runs into your eyes and stings, therefore castor oil is particularly good and very effective for eye care. It has a proven effect on blemished skin due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Apply in the evening to blemished areas and spots and they will be visibly reduced in the morning. Prolonged, regular use makes the skin softer and the complexion more even. It combats unsightly pigment spots.
Regular use of the oil also benefits the hair and scalp. It relieves itchy scalp and massaging the oil directly into the hair makes it more shiny and easy to comb.

Castor oil is also cheap and widely available. Why not try this natural addition to your beauty care?
