Green Smoothie Bowl

The Smoothie Bowl principle is very simple and easy to replicate. The green smoothie forms the basis for your breakfast. It contains leafy greens and fruit. To achieve the thick consistency of a smoothie you can add chia seeds, cereal flakes or frozen fruit. Add whatever toppings you like -  fresh fruit, goji berries, coconut flakes, nuts or seeds. There’s no limit to your imagination. The recipe we suggest can be adapted according to your taste. 

 

Ingredients 

Smoothie 

  • 1 banana
  • 50g spinach
  • 1/2 frozen mango 
  • 1 tsp matcha

Toppings 

  • banana 
  • raspberries 
  • kiwi
  • nuts
  • oats
  • chia seeds

 

Preparation

  1. Peel and slice the banana. Put half of the banana aside for the topping and put the other half into the blender. Wash the spinach and put it in the blender. Mix. 
  2. Peel the mango, removing the flesh from the stone and cut into pieces. Add to the blender. Mix with the matcha and if necessary some water until the consistency is creamy.
  3. Pour the green smoothie into a bowl. 
  4. Peel and slice the kiwi. Put the kiwi, banana slices, raspberries, nuts, oats and chia seeds on the top of the smoothie and enjoy!
