The right bikini- or swimsuit?

The time when swimsuits looked boring is long gone. New shapes, cuts, patterns emerge and make the swimsuit suitable for the perfect beach look.
Cut-out swimsuits are currently very trendy. Deep cut-outs at the side or the back and very high cut legs reveal more skin than normal swimsuits and are really eye-catching.
For 2017 there’s also a trend for simple, single colour swimsuits in for example baby blue or red that recalls Baywatch.
For bikini lovers there are also lots of new trends this year.  Lace details, frills and ruffles are also popular this year. They have the advantage of making your bust look bigger and hiding flab.

Another big trend that can hide problem areas on your hips is high-waisted bikini bottoms. Worn with a normal bikini top, they are more flattering on the hips and also look stylish. Other plus points: you can roll down most high waisted bikini bottoms so that you don’t get a white stomach.
If you like a simpler bikini, go for a single colour halterneck bikini. They’re always stylish and practical.

The beach dress 

The perfect beach look means not only a bikini or swimsuit, but also something looser to put on top.
This year beach dresses are loose and knee length. Thin, airy materials are particularly beautiful. The same applies as for bikinis: patterns and colours are really trendy. Whether it’s stripes, geometric shapes or bright pink, the main thing is that it’s striking.

The right shoes 

This year flip-flops are, like every year, what you need for a beautiful beach look. Easy to put on, airy and suitable for both the street and the beach, flip flops should be part of every shoe collection.
Mules are also on trend this year.In general, all colours, patterns and decorations are allowed.

The beach bag

The beach bag is of course one of the most important accessories for the beach.
The trend this year is for bags made of raffia or basket material. The good thing is that these bags are usually so big that they can hold not only everything for the beach, but are also ideal for shopping.
With the right swimwear and accessories it’s easy to create the perfect beach look. So fashion is important on the beach too!
