How to eat for your beauty

We use the most wonderful beauty products to keep our skin, hair and body in tip-top condition. But that’s only half the story, because beauty comes from the inside and from the right nutrients in your food. The so-called free radical catchers, such as vitamins A,C and E are particularly important. They protect our cells and slow down the ageing process. We also need sufficient unsaturated fatty acids that are present in olive oil or fish because they make hair and skin silky soft and shiny. With a balanced diet so rich in nutrients we can say goodbye to counting calories and hello to total beauty.

BEAUTY FOOD: clever combinations

1. MILLET + GRAPEFRUIT = taut connective tissues

Millet contains a lot of silicon. Together with the  vitamin C the grapefruit promotes the formation of collagen and makes the skin beautifully firm and taut.

2. CARROT + APPLE = shiny hair

The beta-carotene in carrots and the iron in apples are a top team for healthy, beautiful hair.

3. SALMON + BROCCOLI = beautiful complexion

Salmon contains omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin A. Together they stabilise cells and give you a fresh complexion. Broccoli contains vitamins C and E as well as beta-carotene, which protect against free radicals and smooth out fine wrinkles.
