What is retinal?
Retinal (or retinaldehyde) is a precursor to retinoic acid (vitamin A) and is one of the most potent over-the-counter retinoids. It offers clinically proven benefits in the treatment of acne and the reduction of premature skin ageing. Retinal works 11 times faster than retinol. In its encapsulated form, the active ingredient is released more slowly, causing fewer side effects while maximising efficacy.
Effect of Retiron 0.05.
With the continuous use of Skintegra Retiron 0.05, a visible improvement in skin texture can be expected. The facial serum reduces hyperpigmentation (including pimple scars), minimises acne and comedones, provides firmer skin, reduces wrinkles, tightens pores and improves skin texture.
Skin barrier and moisturising.
Retiron 0.05 is supported by a combination of high-quality ingredients that strengthen the skin barrier and optimise the effect of Retinal. Niacinamide, three essential ceramides and their precursors and panthenol help to soothe irritation and maintain the barrier function. At the same time, madecassoside, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E provide intensive moisture, prevent skin dehydration and offer antioxidant protection.
Soothing plant extracts.
The serum also contains plant extracts of schisandra berry and moringa, which have a strong anti-inflammatory and calming effect. Application and texture.
The texture of Retiron 0.05 is moisturising and is quickly absorbed by the skin. This facial serum can be used alone or in combination with moisturising serums, neutral creams or oily boosters, depending on skin type.
Retinisation.
When using Retinal in skin care for the first time, there may be an adjustment period of about 3-4 weeks. During this time, flaking, irritation or a temporary worsening of the skin's appearance may occur. This is a normal reaction as retinoids increase the cell turnover rate to combat acne and skin ageing. It is recommended to limit the application to twice a week at first to allow the skin to get used to the product slowly.

Apply a thin layer of the emulsion to cleansed and dried skin. Apply up to twice a week to begin with and gradually acclimatise the skin to more frequent application. Due to the sebosuppressive effect of retinoids, it is advisable to use a mild, neutral moisturiser to hydrate the skin if there are signs of dehydration. Use a high level of UV protection during the day. Do not use on damaged skin. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
