Superba C is a highly concentrated vitamin C serum with 10% vitamin C, enriched with vitamin E and ferulic acid. This anti-ageing serum is the ideal ally for tired skin that is showing the first signs of ageing - including wrinkles, fine lines, a loss of freshness, an uneven complexion and pigmentation spots.
The form of vitamin C contained in Superba C is safe, stable and water-soluble sodium ascorbyl phosphate (SAP). This powerful antioxidant provides a radiant complexion, reduces signs of fatigue and keeps the skin clear.
SAP protects against oxidative stress caused by environmental factors such as UV radiation and air pollution. These factors lead to long-term skin damage that accumulates over time and accelerates skin ageing. In addition to its antioxidant effect, SAP inhibits melanin production and thus specifically helps against UV-induced hyperpigmentation such as melasma and post-inflammatory pigmentation.
The decisive difference to classic vitamin C serums - in addition to the optimum concentration of SAP - lies in the combination with ferulic acid and vitamin E. This highly effective mixture is an essential component of the best facial serums and is characterised by exceptional antioxidant and photoprotective properties. When the combination of vitamin C, vitamin E and ferulic acid is applied in the morning under a UV protection product, the skin's protective effect is enhanced when exposed to the sun.
