For optimum results, use the file once a week on dry feet before bathing or showering. It is particularly suitable for thickened or calloused skin; be careful not to hold the file too tightly. If the skin under the little toe is hard, move the other four toes away from you with your free hand to expose the area. The file can also be used on the tips of the toes or where corns form. After use, clean the file with a damp nail brush and pat dry. Remove the old pads, dispose of them and replace them with new self-adhesive pads by pressing them firmly onto the file. Do not use on damaged skin, do not overuse and do not hold the file too tightly. Keep out of the reach of children.
