Apply a generous amount of conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair, avoiding the scalp. Leave it on for at least five minutes. Then gently detangle your hair with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb, starting at the ends and slowly working your way up. Rinse the conditioner out thoroughly with cold or lukewarm water until the water runs clear.
