Murali, founder of Asmi Ayurveda, grew up on a coconut farm in Kerala, living Ayurveda without calling it that. Place one heaped teaspoon (approx. 1.5 g) per cup into a tea bag or teapot. Pour freshly boiled water (90–95 °C) over the tea leaves and leave to infuse for 3–4 minutes – or up to 5 minutes for a stronger flavour. Enjoy Ashwa Noir on its own or, in the classic chai tradition, add a dash of milk.
