Murali, founder of Asmi Ayurveda, grew up on a coconut farm in Kerala, living Ayurveda without calling it that. Morning Light works best on warm, slightly damp skin – in other words, straight after a shower, when your skin isn’t quite dry yet. The oil is then absorbed particularly quickly, leaving your skin feeling nourished and non-greasy.
After your shower, gently pat your skin dry without rubbing it completely dry – it should still be slightly damp. Put a few drops of Morning Light into the palms of your hands and warm the oil briefly between them. Breathe in the scent mindfully. Apply the oil from your legs upwards – that is, to your lower legs, thighs, arms and décolleté – and massage it in with long, even strokes. Leave the oil to absorb for a few minutes before getting dressed. The fragrance unfolds on your skin and evolves throughout the day.
