Murali, founder of Asmi Ayurveda, grew up on a coconut farm in Kerala, living Ayurveda without calling it that. Ten years ago, he saw the need for an authentic Ayurveda brand in Germany that was traditional, modern in design, and sustainable in production. Collaborating with Dr. Sreekrishnan, an Ayurvedic doctor from India, he developed oils and teas, with design by Nina Bruun giving the brand a contemporary identity.

Stillness can be used in two ways – as a body oil after a shower or as a massage oil for a targeted self-massage. Both applications are perfect for the evening and take no more than five minutes.
As a body oil: After your shower, simply pat your skin dry so that it is still slightly damp. Put a few drops of Stillness into the palms of your hands, warm the oil briefly and apply it from your legs upwards. Allow it to absorb.
As a massage oil: Take a little more oil in your palms and gently work it in – for example, on your shoulders, neck, arms or the soles of your feet. No special technique is needed – slow, mindful movements are enough.
Pause for a moment and consciously breathe in the scent. Stillness is not just a skincare routine, but a signal to your body that the day is drawing to a close.
